Remigio Agpalza Nagtalon, 87, of Berryville, AR, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. He was born January 27, 1937, in Vintar llocos Norte, Philippines to Paulo and Andrea Nagtalon.
Remigio was a hard-working man, worked as a crane operator for many years and was known in the Philippines as a Barangay Captain (leader in his community). He worked at Tyson Foods in Berryville before his retirement a few years ago. He enjoyed farming, gardening, playing his guitar, singing, joking and a good card game with his grandkids. He loved spending time with his family. He took great pride in sacrificing to make their life better. Most of all, He loved the Lord, and he prayed all the time. He was dedicated to his church, House of Prayer since he moved to Arkansas 25 years ago.
He is survived by his children, Rexy and Nestor Simolata, Reynaldo and Marites Nagtalon, Gerardo and Jacqueline Nagtalon, Grace and Dwayne Richardson, Rona and Billy Richardson, Jocelyn and Jeffrey Garcia, grandchildren, Nathaniel Rench Simolata, Rex Noel Simolata, Ruth Nikki Simolata, Reymarie Flores Philpott (James Philpott), Rea Irish Leon Nagtalon (Walter Leon), Johnrei Flores (Sonia Juarez), Hershey Flores, Dale Harvey Nagtalon, Justin Nagtalon, Amber Nicole Richardson, Randall Wade Richardson, Jellaine Nagtalon, Jocelle Jesh Garcia, Josiah Jeff Nagtalon Garcia, great-grandchildren, Aiden Eugene Philpott, Aizen Reign Philpott and Isaiah Enzo Leon.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jacinta Nagtalon, parents Paulo and Andrea Nagtalon, siblings, Pedro and Carmen Agpalza, Patrocenio, Carolina, Victoriano, Emiliana and Maria Nagtalon.
Celebration Of Life will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 7, 2024, at House of Prayer Church in Lead Hill, AR with Pastor Dwayne Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Enon Circle Cemetery in Lead Hill. Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Saturday, April 6, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.
